Yikes! A little late on this post :) As we get into the summer months I try to go a bit lighter on the food choices. The heat in AZ kind of dictates that :)
The kids still like like hearty meals, but the less I can turn on the oven the better!
I definitely feel like we add in a lot more fruits and veggies too, because there are so many options at the store this time of year.
WEEK 1:
Monday: Crispy Chicken Tenders, Basked Red Potato Slices, Salad, Biscuits
Tuesday: Ground Turkey Tacos with fixings
Wednesday: Baked Tilapia, Salad and Green Beans
Thursday: Orange Chicken and TJ's Fried Rice (won tons if really hungry) :)
Friday: BBQ Chicken Breasts, Mac N Cheese ( we love Beechers from Costco because you get more for your money), Roasted Veggies/ Brussels Sprouts
WEEKEND: Take out, Veggie/ Chicken Burritos, Burgers
WEEK 2:
Monday: Asian Chicken Salad, Toasted Multi Grain Bread
Tuesday: BBQ Chicken drumsticks, Salad and Baked Potato Wedges
Wednesday: Shredded Pork & Pineapple Tacos
Thursday: Creamy Parmesan Baked Pasta, Salad, Fruit
Friday: Go out to dinner / or delivery in
WEEKEND: Turkey Burger Sliders, Caprese Salad , Cobb Salad
WEEK 3:
Monday: Harvest Quinoa Bowl
Tuesday: Crock Pot Stew
Wednesday: Pasta Salad with side of multi grain french bread
Thursday: Garlic Butter Bakes Salmon with side of baked potatoes or baked golden /red potatoes
Friday: Baked Potato Bar
WEEKEND: Pizza Delivery, Turkey Chili, Breakfast for Dinner
WEEK 4:
Monday: Spaghetti Carbonara
Tuesday: Ground Turkey Stir Fry
Wednesday: Cashew Chicken with Noodles
Thursday: Leftovers or freezer favorites from Trader Joe's
Friday: Make your own Pizza night
WEEKEND: Dinner out with friends, Taco Bar (Ground Beef, Ground Turkey and Shredded
Chicken)
Breakfast Ideas: Smoothie Bowls, Apple Cinnamon Muffins, Energy Balls,
Easy Banana Oat Bars , Fruit Kabobs
Lunch Ideas: Chopped Salad , Grilled Cheese Sandwich ( I love adding thin apple slices too)
